The atmosphere for the game at Ridgeview should be pretty good that night. Watched this for the first time last year. Probably the best HS Football production I’ve ever seen. West Virginia HS Football does a stellar job with their stuff also, but it’s just crazy good at how good WCYB does it. That’s a good set of games with some new places for them to visit!

As for the schedule, it looks pretty good. Grundy will become Southern Gap and a good place to have them. It won’t be Beaver-Graham, but that could turn into a decent rivalry.

Give me the Blues (Richlands blue) in a very close game. They already have a game under their belt and had a chance to get the rust off. Also they can clean up some mental errors and mistakes. GC will make some mistakes it being their first game, even the greatest of teams do, Richlands has to score on those mistakes. Williamsburg, VA, offers a vibrant array of sporting events and tournaments throughout the year. For golf enthusiasts, the area hosts prestigious tournaments on some of the country’s most beautiful courses.

They should handle Wise Central and Marion. The Grundy game just boiles down to if Grundy has gotten into their playoff offense or not. Tazewell has not looked great in the preseason but they have the line to take advantage of if they can play that game in a phone booth. The Blues showed potential last week. Hopefully their 2nd half adjustments against GC will create a W for them this week. Don’t know the playmakers for GC, but hopefully there isn’t a Laws in the backfield.

I noticed Bluefield, WV, charges for their home games at 15 bucks per pop to stream the game live. Looks like WVs Video Productions and NFHS are no go status for Bluefield, WV home games. All of the games above are listed by Maxpreps for tonight, so a decent chance at least 1 above is probably wrong. Bluefield will be fortunate if they get out of that game with no substantial injuries. I’d like to see them pull the upset but I just don’t see that happening.

Glenvar-Northside (Roanoke), Lebanon-Rural Retreat, VH -TH, Eastside-Chilhowie, Grayson Co.- Floyd Co. Alleghany-RE Lee (Staunton), Appo-Buckingham. Those are the ones I’m interested in.

I would say Princeton should be the favorite in that one next season with what Graham is losing. Graham will most likely play them early in the season before the district games start. Some of those youngsters for Graham next year may need some time to develop.

I saw North play at the old school/stadium, but never made it to the new place. So D-B approached THS and Murville, then just gave CCHS a call out of the blue? No contacting Roanoke area (do they still scrimmage Lord Botty?) schools or Liberty Christian? Another Asheville school like Roberson? Even a decent SC upstate school like Spartanburg, Dorman or Byrnes wouldn’t be a bad drive.

I assume them and TW will open with one another again and isn’t listed. Looks like Unaka will continue to play Twin Springs and added JI Burton to their schedule but TW is not on there this cycle. Bluefield High-Woodrow Wilson, and Tazewell-Union.

Additionally, the Williamsburg Indoor Sports Complex (WISC) provides a variety of sports, fitness, and recreational activities. Whether you’re interested in road races, bike races, or marathons, Williamsburg has something for every sports fan. Coach T already has a lot of NET schedules on their website. Cumberland Gap is one that only shows 7 games currently.

The Blues expended a lot of effort and energy in the first half and played inspiring football. After halftime, their juice ran short, but their spirit still kept on pushing. Peck, peck until the ceiling of defeat is broken.

Richlands I think is going to cause some problems for some teams . He’s a good coach and an even better person . I’ve heard plenty of racial slurs at about every stadium in this area. He went to W & M if I remember correctly. I’m hearing that his little brother is pretty good too. GC will be a lot better up front than VA High especially defensively.

Daniel Boone only shows 8 games currently with openings on Sept 5th, Oct 3rd and Oct 10th. Possible spot there for Union that may have not been published yet. I would like to see more matchups with swva and NE Tennessee. There is no rating penalty for playing single A in Virginia other than pride. No Laws that I know of, but they do have a hard running RB and FB. Little brother to Carson Jenkins that was usually the fastest player on the field in any game.
